What is your fee structure?
The Bishop Partners is a “retained fee” recruiting firm. If you choose to retain us, we are paid an “engagement fee”, which is then deducted from a commission based on the candidate’s first year compensation package. The fee is paid by the Client (prospective Employer), not the candidate. This fee structure should be considered “performance based”. Unlike many “retained” search firms, after payment of the engagement fee, the balance of the fee is only due upon successful completion of the search.

How do you justify your fees?
Our fees are only slightly higher than the internal expense associated with identifying and recruiting the highest performing candidates for your position. Our job is to spend the time necessary to identify and then pre-qualify the ideal candidates matching your expressed, specific needs. Often, the time saved by engaging a recruiter and replacing “lost production” justifies the commission. We will remain focused on your search until completed. We are constantly being trained and exposed to the industry’s best practices. Professional fees are a deductible expense.
