Biography of G. Robert Bishop
Bob established a reputation as being one of the most sought after creators of executive portraits. He has photographed virtually all of the Fortune 500 CEOs and/or Presidents in the St. Louis region. He has been commissioned to shoot executives for General Dynamics, McDonnell Douglas, Anheuser Busch, The May Company, Monsanto, Seven-up, A.G. Edwards, Mark Twain Banks, United Van Lines, Interco and TWA, among others.
In 1997, Bob was recruited out of the commercial photography business to become Director of Operations for Color Associates’ Creative Imaging Group (now Group360). This group included over 20 art directors, designers, 3D illustrators, a team of production experts and a dedicated sales and support staff, totaling over 65 employees. Six months after being hired, Bob was promoted to Vice President and Director of Operations.
The Creative Imaging Group included complete creative capabilities (including print collateral, display graphics and multimedia/interactive and online presentations), a digital photography studio, a digital imaging facility including a Durst Lambda and multiple other output devices for both indoor and outdoor applications.
